The Taxman and the Prostitute
An instrumental of two halfs... but which half is the taxman, and which half is the prostitute?
Violin Written and Performed by Tomas Gregory-Smith
The original working title was Dickinsonian, around the time of Adam and Becky getting hitched (and the blithering idiot asking me to be best man). I guess I was trying to write a nice peice of music for the occasion. It then got coupled with the aggressive 2nd half and I found a more appropriate title (no, they don't have a stormy, love/hate relationship, just an English-Scottish one).
My only direction to Tom during the violin recording was “less Folk-y” - and, the multiple violin parts were conjured up without his actually hearing the previous versions that he was playing across!

Aww, aren't they nice!
Tom GS is now a father... isn't that nice.
